body prep (the pickup-not mine)
I've decided I want a roadster instead of a enclosed body. So, after much consideration, have decided to remove the top. I'm still waiting for the patch panels to arrive so I can repair the lower edge. The panels have been on order for three weeks and should arrive any time. Hope springs eternal!! In the meantime , I have been trying to straighten many of the dings and rust spots that have accumulated thru the years. I will post pictures at a later date.....

body repair
I'm starting to repair the lower edge of the body. After sitting in the dirt in the chicken house for over 50 years, the bottom of the body has almost disppeared due to being in the dirt. I've ordered all the patch panels from Howell's Sheet Metal and will start cutting and welding upon their receipt. Will post pictures as I make progress.....

After cutting 3 trees and the spring u-bolts, it finally could be loaded in my trailer for the trip home...
